When William Beekman opened his Mercantile and built Beekman Farm in 1802, he was as far away from civilization as one might have been in those early days of America. As in many farming communities still today, ingenuity was essential. You can make something out of nothing, and our lighting implements from artist Matthew Stollmeyer prove just that

The faux shades on our banker-style lamp use vintage telegraph and telephone line glass insulators in their original colors that were in use from the 1870’s through the 1960's. Color variations exist naturally due to method of manufacturing. The tubing and fittings are classic are black iron.

With vintage style cloth-covered twisted two-wire cords and retro style plugs.

Bulbs are candelabra based and recommended wattage is 60W LED each (20W Max incandescent each)
