Beekman Artisan Handblown Decanters & Glassware

Tantalus was a figure from Greek mythology made to stand in a pool of water beneath a fruit tree with low branches, with the fruit ever eluding his grasp, and the water always receding before he could take a drink. In William Beekman’s day, gentlemen of his status would have had an elegant tantalus in their quarters—a set of decanters and glassware kept in a box under lock and key.

Our glass artist, Bobby Sharp, has created the modern version for Beekman 1802. Hand-blown in organic shapes in smoked glass, this set is guaranteed to tantalize anyone who sets eyes on it.
