Like most Beekman 1802 products, this Fermenting Pot was created to help solve a problem. Many of the pickling and fermenting pots you find online are too small. Or too big. Or you need to buy the lids separately. (If you can find them at all.) This Beekman 1802 Stackable Fermenting Pot was designed by Normandy Alden in upstate NY, to be just the right size for couples and small families. It's also stackable so it will take up less space in your pantry. And its best feature? A brine-gutter has been built right into the rim, so that the lid is completely air-tight once closed. (But gas can still come out.) Pot can fit 5 gallons.
Great for fermenting sauerkraut, pickles, carrots, green beans, beets, or any combination of garden fresh veggies.
Comes with instructions & recipes. Normandy Alden's work is inspired by the rural landscape where she lives. She is a recent MFA graduate from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.
