William Beekman likely carved tops like these for his 8 children. Handcrafted locally by a young neighbor, Derek Countryman, who has been wood turning 3 years. (Check out his amazing wooden pens.) He collects scrap wood from local mills to re-purpose into these beautiful wooden objects.
