    The idea for these beautiful Personalized Anniversary Vases was born when potter Mallory Rose began to think of an eye-catching, personalized way to commemorate her own upcoming wedding. Her design was inspired by traditional stitching and embroidery that recorded events on something a little more permanent than paper. The artist's work pulls many inspirations from her own Southern heritage and interests in history, lineage and storytelling. She strives to make heirlooms that become a part of your daily life, and not something that's used only once. Each piece is meant to take you back to that time and remember the celebration- to smile and celebrate every day thereafter. The crisp lines and bold colors are made using a technique of intricately carving into the clay and inlaying color using underglazes. Each piece is then finished with a crystal clear glaze.
