Fences might make good neighbors, but pies make even better ones. Here in Sharon Springs, the usual way to celebrate, recognize, get well, or console one's neighbors is with a baked good...usually a pie made with homegrown fruit. But the tough part about giving away a pie is asking for your pie dish back. And those cheap disposable foil pans just don't bake right.

So we developed the "Good Neighbor Pie Kit." Each kit contains:
