    Our Garden Hod and Dibble were made for each other. Literally! The Dibble fits snugly over top of the Hod. Now you're asking: "what the heck are dibbles and hods?" Well, they're both garden implements from the 19th century that are still ingenious today.

    A hod helps carry your harvest. It has an open mesh bottom so you can hose the dirt and bugs off of your harvest so the mud isn't brought into the kitchen. And the dibble has evenly spaced pegs so that when inverted into the soil, it creates evenly spaced holes of equal depth. This helps keep your seed plantings neat, and prevents wasted seeds.

    Both the Beekman 1802 Garden Hod and Dibble are hand-crafted to last from white and red oak with brass nails. Made to last for a lifetime of harvests.

    Approx. dimensions -  Dibble: 16.5"L x 9" W and 2.25" spikes. Hod: 16.5"L x 9"W x 6.5" H. Total height of both together 7".
