Launching a new magazine in this day and age is a rare thing, but we were inspired by a copy of the Farmer’s Almanac from the year 1802 that we found on eBay. In the margins, the owner had scribbled everything from the number of eggs obtained each day to the birth of a child–as if they were all of equal importance.
We thought how wonderful it would be to create a Beekman 1802 magazine to help you get the most out of each season and “cultivate a better life” with dozens of recipes, projects and inspiration.
We’ve created a magazine with minimal advertising, designed by Team Beekman, printed in the USA, with paper from a mill in Maine and soy-based ink from the USA. A truly Made in America heirloom!
